about

Presenting the world's very first noise rock remix album*

This is a complete reimagining of our debut album, "God is the Warmest Place to Hide," as deconstructed and remixed by our friend and collaborator, Whettman Chelmets. From top to bottom, this is a new listening experience, illuminating electronic and industrial undertones within the original compositions. Our deepest gratitude and thanks to WC for being willing to take this on and helping us bring this idea to life.

*We think. Don't quote us on that. Or do. We don't care.

"Ape Dog Wars does exactly what Whettman Chelmets (probably) promised Qoheleth he’d do to their record: flip that nasty noise rock on its head and tease out all manner of sonic subtleties. God bless him, Chelmets really did a job on these tunes." - Tiny Mix Tapes

"The ethos of unbounded sonic experimentation shows off in spades. While enjoyable as a standalone, the work can only fully be appreciated as a companion piece to the original. You then take on the role of an audio archaeologist, uncovering artifacts that point back to the original source material." - Houdini Mansions
